Two aluminium chairs that live in a stuff sack — and between them, not one published seat height.
These two compete for the same slot in the same boot: aluminium poles, a fabric seat, a bag, and a published weight either side of 1.3 kg. Both publish a packed size and a fabric grade, which is more than most of this shelf manages. What neither publishes is how high off the ground you end up — one chair in the nine reviewed here gives a seat height, and it is not one of these. Nor does either describe its feet, which is the other line this hub keeps finding empty.

Each tick belongs to its own line and nothing more. The row of ticks is not a score: the two verdicts underneath settle the page, because these two answer different questions on the trail.
The shorter package of the two — 37 cm against 43 cm — and the higher published load claim, at 120 kg. It states three erected dimensions and calls itself height-adjustable without saying which of them moves, so the sitting position is something you find out on the pitch. Take it when the chair has to go inside a pannier or a pack rather than beside one.
Lighter on the published figure, at 1.25 kg, and in a heavier fabric — 900D Oxford against 600D. It describes a high back with a head cushion and mesh side panels, without publishing a back height, so that is a shape you buy on the photographs. Take it when the chair is for sitting in for an hour rather than for five minutes.
That each maker has published a number. Neither listing says how the figure was arrived at, over what period, or how the load was applied. Read both as figures printed by the seller, and take any question about them to the maker.
Because neither listing gives one. The ALPINEZ publishes 55 × 50 × 65–70 cm as an erected size and the eSituro publishes 76 × 98 × 58 cm, and in neither set is any figure identified as the seat. Height off the ground is the thing a camp chair is chosen on, and it is the hardest figure to find on this shelf.
It is one published difference of several — 900D against 600D — and both are the makers' own grades. It sits alongside 150 g of published weight and 6 cm of packed length, all of them going in different directions, which is why this page ends in two verdicts rather than one.
