It states the sheet is stronger, lighter and more weather-resistant than 210T polyester, and offers it as a rain tarp, shelter, picnic mat or backcountry ground cover.

Eighty-seven grammes

That is the number this sheet exists for. It is the lightest in this hub by a wide margin, and it is also the thinnest, at 20D against the 210D Oxford cloths on the same shelf.

The two go together: a footprint is bought to protect a tent floor from abrasion, and a 20D face gives up some of that protection to save the weight. This is a sheet for carrying, not for gravel.
