The GRAYL entries here are not a matched pair. The bottle reviewed on this site is the GeoPress, at 710 ml. The cartridge listed here is the replacement purifier cartridge for the UltraPress, a different bottle of 16.9 fl oz. Both listings name their housing precisely, which is the one thing a spare part cannot afford to leave vague, so the information is there — it just has to be read rather than assumed.
What the cartridge listing does well
It publishes its life two ways: 300 press cycles, quoted by the maker as 40 gal./150 L. That double figure lets it be compared with cartridges counted either by volume or by use, which is more than most of that shelf offers. It also states a ten-year shelf life for an unused cartridge, which is the fact that decides whether a spare can sit in a drawer between trips or has to be bought on the way out. The GeoPress bottle, for its part, publishes 710 ml in millilitres and in ounces, states a 250 litre cartridge life, and states that the format needs no pumping, no batteries and no chemicals.
The number that is absent from both
Neither page publishes a micron rating.
