What people ask before buying

Is 10 metres enough?

It is enough to find a zip, a pot or a tent peg, and it is not a figure for walking rough ground at night. The maker publishes it plainly, which is more than most of this shelf does, and it tells you exactly what the lamp is for.

How long do the AAA cells last?

The listing does not say, at any of the three modes. What AAA does buy you is that the answer stops mattering as much: the cells are replaceable in the field, and a spare set weighs almost nothing.
