A portable camping chair published as larger and roomier, compact and
lightweight, with a 330 lbs capacity.
MOON LENCE states an expanded 24-inch wide seat with a widened fabric base and
ventilated side panels; a mesh pocket and upgraded tactical webbing; an
aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum frame with a quad-leg base and triple-lock joints;
900D anti-tear Oxford fabric withstanding 330 lbs, with non-slip rubber feet for
wet grass or rocky surfaces; a weight of 2.7 lbs, open dimensions of 22 × 18.1 ×
29.9 inches and a folded size of 15 × 5.7 × 5.9 inches; and setup in a few steps
with no tools.
No seat height. No tube diameter.
Two point seven pounds, rated for three hundred and thirty
Lighter than the heaviest chair here, and carrying more.
The three chairs in this group run 8.3 pounds for 325, 2.7 for 330, and 4.4 for
400. This shelf’s introduction says the packed weight is not the number that decides
a chair, and this group shows why: the two figures move in opposite directions.
A 7075 frame with a slung seat puts its mass where the load is. A steel quad
frame with cushions and a cooler puts it where the comfort is.
Seven thousand and seventy-five
An alloy, named.
Zinc-bearing aluminum, stiffer than the 6061 most folding frames use. No other
chair in this group names a grade — one says steel, one says reinforced steel.
What is missing is the tube diameter. This shelf’s introduction is blunt about it:
the published diameter says more about stiffness than the material name does. A
thin 7075 tube and a thick 6061 tube do not rank by their alloys.
Nine hundred denier
The highest in this group.
This shelf’s introduction names the grades — 600D and 1000D polyester — and the
reason: the higher figure resists the grit and gravel that eventually cut a seat.
Nine hundred, anti-tear, with ventilated side panels. The other chairs here
publish 600D and nothing.
Rubber feet
The only foot design in this group.
This shelf’s introduction says feet matter more than they look, because bare tube
ends sink into sand and soft grass. Non-slip rubber is stated here for wet grass
and rock.
Neither of the other two chairs publishes anything about what meets the ground.
The figure the page does not give
A seat height.
Twenty-two by 18.1 by 29.9 inches is a width, a depth and an overall height. The
seat is not among them, and this shelf’s introduction makes it the first thing to
read — ten centimeters being the difference between a comfortable evening and
needing a hand to get up.
MOON LENCE’s instructions carry the setup and the load rating. Nothing here
replaces them, and nothing on this page describes any product as safe.
